Buna!

The Stonehenge ensemble consists of four concentric circles built of stones. The outer circle (Sarsen circle), 33 m in diameter, is built of 30 huge blocks of stone (megaliths - menhire), placed vertically; today only 17 of these blocks are still standing. Above these stone blocks were placed like thresholds (lintels) other curved blocks (arc-shaped). Inside this outer chain is another smaller circle of eggplant blocks. They surround a horseshoe-shaped arrangement, also made of eggplant stone, inside which is a plate of micaceous sandstone, called the Altar Stone. The whole building is surrounded by a circular chain measuring 104 m in diameter. Inside, a sandbank rises, comprising 56 tombs known as "Aubrey's holes" (after the name of the one who discovered them, John Aubrey). The embankment and the chain are intersected by a Boulevard, a processional path 23 m wide and almost 3 km long. Near the entrance to the Boulevard is the Sacrifice Stone.
